explosions in the sky

i kinda regretted not going for the fireworks display yesterday, last friday and saturday to watch the fireworks, but wait a minute : there were this many people (yes, spread your arms wiiiddde, that many freaking people) it was utter chaos, to give a rough figure, i'd say 10000 people, holy shit, that's a whole of people. the police couldn't do much to restrain the march of the angry fireworks-viewers, we jay-walked in front of policemen, nuff' said.

and so when we heard the first 3 booms (it occured within half a second, consecutively) and the next nano-second, every one was running towards the open-aired area outside Glutton's Bay, holy shiat, i knocked into like 8 people, saying "oops, sorry" was kinda pointless, it was too damn loud to hear anything. and so, me, yisong, jia jiun and clarence found a spot, me and yisong were behind the 2nd group and hence getting a rather shit-assed view. we were friggin blocked by a palm tree and it's leaf (that when exposed with spot-lamps, looked like a hovering explosion caused by the fireworks, but no.), want proof? here are some shameful shots

i wasn't lying

i think this was the best shot.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

a fat lady bumped into me while the shutter, well, shutted.

was too caught up with the french fireworks display that i've forgotten to take shots of ourselves grimacing at the fact that we were sweaty, sticky and just mildly irritated by those mats and minahs wooo-ing at nothing. (yes, they were pointing to the fireworks-less sky and cat-calling), what pissed me off the most was these bunch of mats at the city hall mrt station, this motherfucker handed me a 'flyer' and i thought it was really one, but it was stupid customer satisfaction survey that can be easily reached for ourselves (that is if we even bother to), i immediately regretted my kindness, that motherfucker, go burn in hell.

took the train home and talking about school life with mel and xx and the rest mentioned earlier, as usual, the girls uttered nothing, now if yunru was there, that would be a different issue altogether. had dinner at the old macdonalds site, block 444 to be exact, i love the la mian there, haha, it's been awhile since the guys have had a dinner that late at night.
