I haven't been here in a while. Thought I'd be done with this, but i guess not.
I spent the entire day rusting in a dingy lifeless corner at home, all thanks to my piece of shit handphone that can't decide whether to receive calls or not. I couldn't receive calls and SMSes from friends, but I could receive a missed-call from a landline. The owner of that landline was an aunty who could only speak in Mandarin and Hokkien.
A declaration, if not, a plea to a good friend of mine:
"Nobody can see you if you don't open up the windows or doors. Whatever it is, just say it. We're not telepathic."
Ok, I will probably abandon this site for some time. So, do check out my livejournal. Link's on the left.
Bye.

termed labour!
I have 2 weeks. 2 weeks, people. Before I head back to school.
10 work days to do the things I do, before familiarity sets back in.
Somehow, the feeling is conflicting. Have I developed a longing already?!?!
You know what else I've developed? A greater sense of xenophobia.
4 worthy notes pegged to saturday:
1.) I passed my FTT.
2.) Liverpool beat Bolton.
3.) I won a dollar. Yes, 1 fucking dollar from the above-mentioned win.
4.) I had supper with the good ol's that involved bread, spread and madcap. Also, a good tin of milk tea goes a long way.
Bye.
Current Mood- Whatever my face is expressing, is what I'm not.

when time zips
Hello.
I've a sore throat. God knows where I collected these delightful microscopic critters, but I sure don't really want to know. I hate this more than you. You know why? It's usually involves me staying sick for a week or more. It starts with a irritation in the throat, then it develops into a blocked nose, which will follow before I develop a bloody cold. Then i go back into the sore throat and dig out a nasty cough.
Medicine only makes recovery a tad faster.
And also, work's gotten alot better for the past 7 weeks. Tireless, I presume. Or maybe not.
All I know's that, i've got new work to handle and boy, I ain't got time.
Ok, back to being sick.
Sick.
My LO's coming on the day that I'm gonna be relatively more sickly than the previous one.
Why do coincidences play me like that?
Sick.
Current Mood- Sickly?

Work
Work has officially started a week ago.
I tells ya, it's what it's said to be, FAST-PACED. It wasn't easy cramming so much info about the products, the database system(s), the phone-ttiquete, the sales officers' names and how to deal with idiots.
I'm really trying damn hard to adjust, not saying that there ain't no progress, but its slow. Cos when I try, there's always something new to bombard me left right and centre. I guess that's what you get for working in a big 'dynamic' company. I just hope my sanity pulls through and leave this place unscathed.
Even typing this makes me feel tired already and I'm not getting old yet.
I'm looking at the clock all the time to watch time pass. Somehow, waiting for the clock to strike 1pm and 6pm becomes a drug. Not a narcotic though. That's when I can go out, get a breather, fill up this stomach of mine and come back refreshed for the next 4 hours. When you're not really enjoying the time, it becomes faster for you to wear yourself out. I mean, I used to be able to survive a 9am-7pm in TP and that's because I bloody love it in school (though i yearn to go home for a good sleep). Getting up at bloody 7am was never easy, doing it everyday is even worse. Let's break down how I will work for the remaining 11 weeks:
7am- Get up and go freshen up (ie. poop, bathe, brush teeth)
7.20am- Get dressed, style hair
7.30- Have some breakfast
7.40- Leave the house and walk to the MRT station
7.50- Leave on a train already semi-packed with people when it came from Tampines (if this isn't kiasuism, i don't know what is).
8.30- Reach City Hall, walk to Millenia Tower
8.50- Reach the office, read TODAY and gather quota.
9am- Start work, beginning with routine 1.
10am- Call customers (oh yay)
11am- Routine 2
12pm- Call customers
1pm- Lunch (the joy)
2pm- Routine 2
3pm- Routine 3, collect faxes and mail-in forms and process (ie. call the customers)
4pm- Routine 4
5pm- Settle lots of stuff (ie. the mess that i made) and call customers
6pm- Balek Kampong.
7.15pm- Home sweet home.
And i do that everyday.
With any hope, i do pray for a transfer to deal with HR instead. Really.
Sigh.

Unanswered
I'll begin by saying, I wasn't all that pleased in overcoming the exam papers last week. (took me long enough to get off my lazy arse to type this). SAPM in particular was taxing. He (the setter) had the audacity to set a question that asks for something that wasn't even highlighted (7 marks) and a follow-up that required the answer from the previous round. Ohhhh the anger. I surrender to a C+. Fuck. I also blundered on the HRD paper, 12 marks thrown away like that. Painful.
Bah.
Anyway, the subject matter today is about questions unanswered.
Why is it that when we meet new people, we ditch the people we've met in the past? I know of people who do just that and will not feel any form of guilt. It's never easy to make a plan, make calls and hope for the best to attend and make merry. But guess what? It's also never easy to say sorry for not saying anything else (ala replying) to the person.
I give thanks to those who don't do that, you can count on them to reply. But who's to care when my readership rate is about as many as the number of people alive in a graveyard at Lim Chu Kang RIGHT NOW. That's right. Humour right there.
On another note, I've decided to spend most of my time at home, why? Because I'm tired from thinking too much. Also, it's perpetually raining every-goddamn-day. Just by playing the guitar, playing computer games of sleeping can take away alot of unused time.
I saw this Gibson Les Paul Classic and a Flying V outside a Lee Cooper retail shop at Tampines Mall yesterday. Further down the alley of shops, I see this classic 1950's Harley Davidson on display at Kiehl's ( i think). I don't give a damn about their products, but the things they use to garner attention. Woowee.
Current Mood- Tired

PS: There's a lot of lint in my brain. I'm not thinking clearly. Cool.
